NDC Explains Delay In Two Regional Executives Election

The opposition National Democratic Congress [NDC] says it has suspended two of its regional executives meetings due to some misunderstandings.

General Secretary of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah noted that the party needs to clear some issues in the Volta and Oti regions before elections can proceed.

“We were able to hold elections to elect new executives in three existing regions and five newly created regions. It’s left with Volta and Oti regions, after we clear issues there, election will take place,” he said in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.
