Mr Samuel Asenso Okyere, Assembly Member Aspirant, at Akim Hemang in the Eastern Region, has distributed 167 mathematical sets to Basic Education Certificate Examination candidates made up Seventh Day Adventist JHS, Hemang D/A JHS and Bonkamee BECE candidates in the Community.
The exercise, which formed part of measures to ensure the improvement of education in the Community, is the sole contribution of the Assembly Member-Hopeful which he committed to making every year, beginning last year, for a long as he remains philanthropist.
Mr Asenso Okyere Samuel advised the students to desist from examination malpractices and avoid using drug and to concentrate on their studies since they could make it with determination and hard work.
Mr Asenso said he was confident that this year’s results would be improved open from the 80% to 100%
Elder Richard Okyere, PTA Chairman and Seventh Day Adventist Church Elder urged the students to do away with any fears and prepare for their final examinations and that they would be supported with prayers.
Mr Micheal Boaheng, headmaster of Hemang D/A School, thanked the Assembly Member -Hopeful for his support and encouragement.
