Emmanuel Boateng was the last player to score a hat-trick against Barcelona in the La Liga and Pulse Sports has compiled all the La Liga hat-tricks against the champions as today Wednesday marks exactly two years since the Ghanaian scored thrice against the Catalans.

Boateng registered a hattrick to inspire his former side UD Levante to a 5-4 win over Barcelona on 13th May, 2018 in what became Barca’s only defeat all season in the La Liga.

The hat-trick was the 41st bagged against Barcelona in the La Liga and the 1300th hat-trick in the annals of the Spanish topflight league which has been played since 1929.

Emmanuel Boateng aside from being the first Ghanaian to score a hat-trick against the Blaugrana’s is also the only African to register three goals in a single league game against the Catalans.
